Our client is a global pharmaceutical and chemical concern with over 100,000 employees worldwide and optimal working conditions. They would like to have a Project Assistant come and join their Crop Science Group on a full-time (37.5 hours/week) basis in Monheim, Germany.

Your employer will be Allied Clinical Management, a leader in pharmaceutical research and development in Germany. ACM has collaborated for over 21 years with this client and has developed close connections during this time. The Project Assistant will work directly at our client's facilities in Monheim, Germany for 18 months. The desired start date is 01 Sept 2025 with the contract continuing until 28 Feb 2027.

 

Description

This role supports the planning and coordination of field trials for global R&D crop protection projects in crop science. The focus is on projects in the early development phase.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities

1. Preparation and support of field trials: Preparation and support of global trial seasons, including preparation of import permits and applications to relevant authorities.

2. Coordination of field trial planning: coordination with test centers, internal formulation development and chemical research.

3. Quality control and data management in field trial planning: performing quality control of global planning, summarizing results and maintaining master data in the field trial planning system and in group-specific databases

4. Sample management and maintenance: This includes the management and maintenance of global product sample stocks in the sample logistics system.

5. Processing sample orders: Processing shipping orders and creating orders to provide samples for the sample shipping group.

 

 

Skills & Qualifications

1. B. Sc. in related field plus 3 years of relevant experience or completed scientific / business education with relevant experience.

2. Strong IT understanding of digital tools and operational efficiency

3. SAP knowledge is beneficial

4. Good collaboration, excellent communication skills internally and externally

5. Resilience in dealing with a dynamic environment.

6. Ability to master ongoing changes involving complex technical details and problem solving.

7. Fluent in German and English.

 

Location

1. Monheim, some home office is possible

2. Working hours: 37.5 hours; flexible
